Attorney Smith received her undergraduate degree from Purdue University, then graduated in 1989 from Valparaiso School of Law. After law school graduation, she got the opportunity to clerk for two Elkhart Superior Court judges. She’s been in private practice for over two decades and has represented clients in high-asset, complex cases. She’s been a proudly registered mediator since 2005.

Christine M. Bressler, Legal Assistant

Christy’s legal career began in 1986 at the Tippecanoe County Courthouse, where she first served as Deputy Clerk. Over her 34 years at the courthouse, she held various roles, including Court Reporter, before advancing to Court/Quest Administrator under Chief Justice Loretta Rush. In January 2021, Christy joined Cynthia P. Smith’s team, drawn to Cindy’s passion for the law, her compassion for others, and her unwavering commitment to her clients and community. Christy is proud to be part of an organization that truly makes a difference.

Kimberly S. Pflueger, Legal Assistant

Kim began her legal career in 1985 as a part-time legal assistant while attending Indiana State University in Terre Haute. After earning her associate’s degree in paralegal studies, she spent the next 26 years working as a paralegal in both Indiana and Kentucky. In 2011, she transitioned to public service with the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, where she held roles as Deputy Court Clerk, Senior Case Administrator, and Data Quality Analyst. After retiring from the federal court in March 2023, Kim returned to her roots in the legal field, joining attorney Cynthia P. Smith’s team in April of 2023. She takes pride in using her extensive experience and legal expertise to benefit clients.
